Tina's Hostel (老街客栈)
Tina's Hostel is one of the most famous stops in town among old-timers. Back in the days before the wealth of choice Jiefangbei offers now, a game of pool and a few beers at Tina's was in the top 5 Yuzhong pre-drink options.
Today, this hostel tucked away down some stairs on Zhongxing Lu offers three terraces, a café/bar and a legendary quote on the wall left by the visiting Chengdu Pandas rugby club in 2012: “It's not gay, it's rugby”.

Location:
Go down the winding street out of exit 5 of the Jiaochangkou station and stay on the left. Pass the 7 Days Inn and look carefully at the writings on the wall, eventually you'll see old crappy stairs going down, the hostel is right down there, on your right.
