What's it all about?

Founded in 2009, CQScene was intended as little more than a blog keeping a foreign population short on resources informed about the city's nightlife, events and must-see places. Directly involved in the Scene, the makers of this website have privileged access to its movers and shakers, as well as firsthand knowledge of the nooks and crannies that make Chongqing unique.

Today, we are proud to offer you a new and improved version of CQScene. The blog you all know and love's got a brand new bag and we are looking for collaborators to present their discoveries and showcase their writing skills. On top of that, we have concocted a more user-friendly database of the best bars, restaurants, activities and places for you to explore. As Chongqing is a city in constant evolution, so are our listings. Consult regularly for updated content and new, exciting stuff to see!
