Paulaner Braühaus 

 

This German beer hall attached to the Kempinski in Nanping brews its namesake beer on the spot. You’ll need it if you’re trying to wash down one of their enormous sausage plates while watching their house band singing pop rock classics three or four times a night.

The back corner has a pool table and a dartboard if conversation gets tedious, but it's likely that with their 100 kuai all-you-can-drink on Wednesdays, everyone will be interesting...
