Changtouyu Fishpot 长头鱼

 

Kill two musts with one stone by stopping here after a day of walking around Ciqikou. Dip fresh slices of fish in a delicious non-spicy broth, then dip into your own custom mix of vinegar, spring onion, cilantro and two kinds of lajiao for an incomparable Chongqing food experience.

 

So how long do you dip the fish in the broth before its ready? The fine people at Changtouyu will tell you three dips, for a few seconds each time should do it.

Location:

Walk out of exit 1 of the Ciqikou station and head towards the entrance of Ciqikou, stay on the right and pass the gas station. A hundred meters or so before you're standing across the street from the main gate, you'll see a row of outdoor restaurants (unless it's raining), that's it.
